Aforetime, painting as a practice has been one of the earliest forms of artistic expression of the man, through which the world and everyday reality was represented. Today, painting is part of a new situation and has changed its visual traditional language.
The concept of expanded painting arose spontaneously to the personal need to express what was happening in my work and was the topic chosen for the final IUNA thesis for which I count with the invaluable support and mentorship of Pablo Siquier. The centre of refelction has been the researching of different art experiences beyond the conventional format with reference to the artistic production of Lucio Fontana, Jorge De la Vega, Robert Rauschenberg, Gerhard Richter, Luis Felipe Noé, Fabian Marcaccio and Jessica Stockholder, among others.
